Oh It Fades, Just Fades Away!

Her head rests on his chest
It rises and falls like waves
the waves of a calm sea
she feels like she's floating
and hear his pattern of breathing
and feel his fingers stroking
and in those, she'd find the storm
the storm calming down
the one that once raged in her.
But, she doesn't feel happy
nor is she sad anymore
she doesn't feel like her
and that's just too bad.
It just fades, it all does
the poetry in their laughter
the puddles they skidded upon
faded but left behind
the sombre skies and glittered pain
fireflies roamed before their eyes
& vanished when they turned ice.
Left are empty promises
that meant nothing
and are empty words on pages
that mean everything.
Secret were his form of words
broken were her form of love
gone were the souls that intertwined
vague was their memory of bliss.
