Look Out The Window

Look out the window,
Gasping for air in the midst of worry,
Thinking of what’s coming tomorrow,
Hoping the sun shines brightly.

In my heart, my thoughts, my mind,
I want to see things in different way,
When everything seems so fine,
I ponder ‘ If I may….

If I may catch a rainbow,
I would do it just for you,
Take away your sorrow.
and the days you’re feeling blue.

If I may take your troubles,
I would toss them in the sea,
It would make me tumble,
Only to see you smile in glee.

If I may turn back time,
Embrace the days without fear,
Family and friends become prime,
Create memories that stay forever.

If I may build an island,
With the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair,
Bring joy to all mankind,
Even little things seem so fair.

In other times,
I look out the window,
Gasping for air in the midst of worry,
Recalling the days filled with sunglow,
Hoping the seed of happiness grow abundantly.
