By the collapsing hopes that are hard to retrieve
By the world I never wanted to be a part of
By the emptiness I was never fond of
By the silence that has filled my soul
By the loneliness that has eaten me up, whole
By the words that always go unuttered
By the wounds that always are untended
By the noise that cuts me like a sword
By the disguised sweet and lovely words
By hundreds of broken pieces caged in my body
By the hidden wrath that can poison anybody
By everything approaching me in a row
And this is the DEFINITION of DEFEAT I know...
