Slicing The Pie

Walking beneath the sea of the past
rewinding the tape of memories I thirst for
while I watched your ocean engraved smile
dancing with the coloured parrot above the horizon,

like a thread you pulled me into
the vacuum of the clouds and severed the rope which bounds me
unto you letting me fall like the
paint brush which waters the canvas,

the dust awakened as my fragile
body plugged Into the socket of the earth creating tiny strokes of sadness,
which left my abode hanging on the thick fangs of darkness.
