Christmas
It snows, I throw snowballs
My dream, to see Santa
Offering Christmas bonanzas,
Bringing smiles and happiness,
To the children, making proud-
Their parents…
It’s a celebration, of a birth-
That caused eternity and everlasting peace
To all mankind,
A son to Mary and Joseph
His name, Jesus,
The son of God
Families come together and rejoice
For the moments are filled with noise,
Caused by a noble choice
To celebrate His grace.
At this time of the year
Melancholy is a word, heard not in anyone’s mouth.
Oh! Its Christmas
A day to make the best of foods,
A period to embellish love
Strengthen bonds and create unity,
Lessen the propinquities of ambiguity-
And precarious situations.
Rejoice thee, for a new season has come
To thee a savior reigns
And over thy house, sit His armies
Its Christmas, sing, dance,
Play the strings, beat the drums, and –
Shout joyous screams unto the Lord.
