Food
Getting home tonight
Tired and exhausted
With my last strength
I smiled seeing her
Wished she knew
How much I had her in my thoughts!
Wished she knew
How much I missed home!
Lovely and beautiful
She makes me grow
Dazzling and gleaming
Making me glow
With joy my heart sings
Butterfly in my stomach
Silent tears for happiness
Can I get you off my mind?
I'll always come home
I'll play my role
You won't be alone
You've saved lives
Of kids and old alike
You've been a hero
In times as this
I'm taking to you
Yes you
Hot water cassava flour
Together with melon soup
I mean garri (eba)
With egusi soup
I love you
Wish I can wash you down
With one cold Pepsi
Pleasant Ajayi
