A Fading Lamp

Violent screeches on roads known,
Hushed agonies in lawns unknown,
Ah! 'She' utters a dolesome cry,
Silent screams with a woeful sigh.

Rusty shackles, a knot to her knees,
Scorn stings, the cuts on her feet,
Drowning 'she' in the harassed wave,
Fading 'she' in an unlawful haze.

Her dreams are in the gusts of hate,
Cravings slayed by the grimace of it (society)
Give some space in the yards of pink,
Let her feed in some vernal lap.

Why the somberness brimmed her heart?
What she musing in the gloom of muss?
Why her spells upset of care?
Why her ballads without a tone?
