The Battle Within
Born from a furnace the demons arose,
egotistic in nature, and not giving a damn,
unrivalled! yet still their power grows,
wolfing attitudes with enemies as lamb,
daringly a David was born,
with enough shield for a brain as protection,
very soon we'll have a demon to mourn,
but could I kill this Goliath he questioned
the jig is up I'm afraid, there is no winner in this battle,
the more we fight, we come to the same conclusion,
together we are stronger if remade, no more need for sacrifices of cattle,
could it be that we were once one before? who the hell separated us? who caused all this illusion?
still confused but what's the point of this from the beginning!
a pair playing a deadly game as one?
this is a battle between the mind and the body, so who am I kidding,
I'll be surprised if someone said I won
so please I ask you, am I winning?
or the battle has not yet begun.
