Light Me Up

Light me up like the Sun for the day,
Light me up like the Moon for the night,
Light me up like the Stars for the night.
I wouldn't wish to be lit like fireworks,
Which last for a moment and vanishes,

Nothing gives permanent light, I know,
Being the Sun for the day, I glow,
Being the Moon for the night, I show,
Being the star in the sky, I pose,
These I need for the hopeless, to bring hope.
