The Cop And The Criminal

Oh officer, with thy badge so bright,
You put on quite a law enforcement sight.
You caught me caught in a jiffy,
But wait, did you even mind rights, iffy?

My eyes were shut, I couldn't see,
But I could feel your cuffs so eagerly.
I wish you hadn't use too much force,
Or worse yet, break any laws, of course.

Now justice is served, feeling so fine,
But I still can't shake this thought in my mind.
Did you really follow procedure,
Or just winging it and hoping for closure?

So thanks, cop, for the memory,
Of that time you caught me with efficacy.
I won't forget this moment, no sir-ee,
But next time, maybe you'll learn about law enforcement 101 for free.
