Naked Echoes

In myriad bold moments, I have danced in the nude,
First as a babe, emerging shivering and new,
Wrapped in a cloak of warmth by mother's tender care,
Shielding my innocence from the world's piercing stare.

As a young rebel, I defied conventions with glee,
Baring my soul to the universe with wild and free,
Embracing the sweet liberation of uncovered skin,
Asserting my right to privacy with a rebel's grin.

At the infirmary, I relinquished my garments with ease,
For a needle's sting, exposing vulnerability if you please,
Lying bare under sterile lights, a canvas unclaimed,
A moment of trust, under the healers' acclaim.

By Lake Victoria, I pranced unclothed for years,
Cherished by companions with laughter and cheers,
My limbs praised as mighty, destined for glory's call,
An age of innocence by the water's beckoning thrall.

In the school's showers, my extended limbs praised high,
Boosting my spirit amidst peers' curious eye,
A royal presence in naked grandeur, no shame to show,
A moment of youth's exuberance, in naked glow.

Even in wedlock's sanctum, I strode without care,
In the union of hearts, with my love to share,
Dreaming of offspring to bear the legacy true,
Of familial nudity, passed down through the blue.

I'll walk unclothed, heedless of what others may say,
In homage to forebears who danced in the day,
Embracing a tolerance that transcends modesty's chain,
Like Adam at peace, with a lineage to sustain.
