Confessions Of My Heart

First time I saw you
You stole my heart
You seduced my desire
Somehow you grabbed a piece of my sanity

Deep inside I found your love
Deep in my thoughts you wondered
Deep in my heart I made room for you

Little did I know you had other intentions
You tore my heart into a countless pieces
You selfishly broke me down
And brutally turned your back on me

I loved you endlessly
And shamelessly
Yet today I've become a has been to you

You walk tall and proud
I can barely pick myself up
From a bright figure to a dark shadow
How did you do that

I'm hurt, broken, miserable
But then you would care
So long not anymore
