My Wish

I used to wake up
In the middle of the night
Still lying on my bed
Staring at the fan rotating

Couldn't move an inch
My mind filled with thoughts
Pacing to and fro
If I had just one wish

What would it be?
To be the wealthiest man?
To be a great scholar?
To bring back my loved ones?

My wish would be
To restore peace to my nation
To cleanse our hearts from hatred
And filled it with love
