Every Writer

I want to write stories to tell
I was amazed how dedicated
every writer of every book or journal
They draw a vivid image
Created by our own mind
Every swipe of their pen
There's a life they created
Every swoop and swush
There's an emotion they intend
To be captured by readers alike
Whether it's love, hatred or frustration
In once character
We are hooked and cursed by it
Every stroke of their biro
You could see and feel
the place that they decided to engrave
