A Letter To Anxiety

I came face to face with you and felt shattered
You managed to break each and every part of my life.
You brought your friends along,
Insecurities became my best friend and fear became a way of living.
You always found a way to knock on my door
And didn't mind whether I was in class or with my friends
You made me cry every night and I begged you to leave but you made a home out of me
You made me feel worthless and I cried myself to sleep every night
You've managed to pull me back
But I have decided to grow and stay strong
I will fight and fight
Anxiety I won't let you win, I choose to fight
