Lost Ones
They came in as *tides*, kept on switching *sides* and took us on *rides*
They blurred away as faulty microscopic *slides*
They promised, they will become our *shadow*
But, They disappeared like a *sparrow*
Even after waiting for them through the *window*
They disappeared somewhere in *meadow*
Their disappearance bought a lot of *pain*
Like efforts of hardworking going in *vain*
We thought we will always remain their *main*
But they went away like a passing shower of *rain*
Days with them felt like a *picnic*
But they sunk in my heart like the *titanic*
Their going brought tears in our *eyes*
But also made us stronger and *wise*
They were a lots of thoughts we *shared*
But they never *cared*
It was just our hopes they *marred*
Now there is no use feeling the *guilt*
Without them we have more life castles to be *built*
In Life people will come and *go*
It's better if you *know*
At the end there is always a *way*
The true and geniune ones will always *stay*
