A Little More Than A Fantasy...(spiritual Journey Of Shakyamuni Buddha)

A prince name Gautama was born
who had all the luxuries to adorn
despite all his opulence and comfort
Suffered deep spiritual wretchedness
Often he walked by the edge of the pond
Pondering why old age, sickness and death befall
Inqusitivity deepened more and more
Prompted him to refuse his heir’s throne
He thought of becoming a sage
at such a tender age
Shakyamuni then renounced desire to secular life
Consecutive events led him to thrive
Much long his spiritual tormant prevailed
Curiously wanted to know reason behind sufferings n pain
wandering and seeking ways to transcend life’s fundamental law
rapt in reverential awe
determined n firm he meditates under a peepal tree
He was sure to attain enlightenment
being a strong devotee
Eventually he perceived a beam of light
awakening him to the eternal nature of life
Accumulated past karmas are the reason of our sufferings
Claiming birth, death and rebirth is inescapable, immutable and self abiding!!
