Not Just Refugees

We were forced to leave our country,
Excluded with empty hands
Finding a safer place to live,
Ultimately, to save our lives.

The definition of humanity isn't for us,
No hearts are melted by our tears
No one was with an empathy face,
Humanist shame covers the face of the world.

We wondered why they fought against us,
We heard so many cries of people running,
We saw bodies, burnt houses everywhere,
We were at war, now at refugee camp.

Human rights never meant for us,
ICJ doesn't find a better solution,
We want to be like other nations
We say no to war, let's live in peace.
