The Gatekeeper Of Death

Midnight's dreary hour is now upon you as
you stand alone, weeping, in the misty cemetery.

From beneath the grave, souls from times long
past briefly escape their sullen bondage as
they soar above the empty space of loneliness
they inhabit with great pain.

They have come for you! Your life on Earth
is now complete and it's time for you to join
them. Child, your destiny is calling and must
not be denied!

Speak to me oh seeker of Death! What has
brought you to the Gates of my Kingdom? Please,
do not be frightened. You are one of us and we,
in turn, are a likeness of yourself.

Now, loosen those cruel shackles that bind
your heavy limbs to the cold, hard Earth and follow
us on a journey through infinite Time and
Space! Higher, farther and much faster the spirit
travels on the peaceful wings of freedom!

Rejoice Oh Phantom's of the Night, that touch
the blind and give them sight! Life is but a nightmare
that we cannot fight and only after the flame
is extinguished, will we finally see the burning
light!

O, Gatekeeper of Death, I wish to thank thee
for thy wondrous gift, and though the Sands of
Time may sift, our bleeding Hearts will always
beat as one! Till All Time is Midnight and there
is no more Sun!
