She Is Music

Music I was told, was found in all shades.
From the bass to the strings
Leaving it's listener in awe.
Sending it into a trance at first encounter .

But when I felt music,
It was a message from a soul.
It felt all so familiar
It hit straight into my soul
Like a sword dug into your heart leaving you breathless.
I found it so irresistible.
Then alas it hit me,
Her golden skin
Brighter than all instruments placed under the sun.
Her black hair,woven into strings
Her thin waist adorned with beads
Moving against each other just like the shekere.
Her voice brought more peace and serenity than the muse of the violin.

This was my place of peace.
Music is home.
She is music.
She is home.
