It has been decades of tears
Not knowing about the years
And to which ear they will fall
Maybe they can be short or tall

They have all shown me rejection
They could not even give me recommendation
But now I have found connection
With people of great motivation

I never had a sense of belonging
Although my heart was longing
To have at least one even if it could be boring
All I could do was staying alone and start yarning

Now I have receive acceptance
With people who accept the circumstance
And are ready to help me get my deliverance
No matter the distance.

Poet's note: This poem is about teenager who has been passing through life challenges full of pain and tears but now he has gained a sense of belonging. The agony teenagers go through just to find acceptance.
