Loving You

I see how you look into the mirror
The self-doubt that has you still gazing into it
Noticing the scars that lay revealed
And the teary eyes that blur your sight
You've given so much to these people who keep taking
And never once have you given to your own self
This tree you have run to for its shade, provides you none
How selfish this world is, but I am glad you remain unchanged
I am glad you've learnt to love you first
