A Semblance Of Life

Your lush green attires
Remind me of your vernal desires.
How close we were then like clouds and rains!
I heard about your ailing families;
How you've suppressed yourself the first few steps
For so long a time
Your nuptial knots.
Though I may not be there
To witness
The consummation of your new-found love,
You're in my prayers
Still.
