Fought Less.

I never lost the battle,
The battle lost me.
I did not survive,
But the battle did!

Before the battle,
I wrote my farewell.
I never wanted loss,
But I became the loss!

Summon me home,
Send me to silence.
Summon me home,
Send me to slumber deep!

Poet's note: I wrote this poem on 22nd April 2025. I wrote it for myself after a disappointment. I felt like I had lost the battle and indeed I lost it. But what to do! I want the world to know that you'll loose someday but it's okay to accept and close that chapter and try to explore new things.
