The stress of merging ideologies belongs to history
Mentalities have been synergize
Oh unity it has been you all this while
Kudos to you

Oh unity you gave us an identity
You seek to quench the thirst of bias
To eliminate unwarranted assumptions
You nurtured progress

You brought honour and recognition
You are the pathway to reconciliation
Your presence guarantees confidence in the lions and lionesses
You are a man of extra ordinary boldness

You are a man of exploits
Our trust in you know no barrier
To you, the sword is a play_ thing
You are a mighty sword of valour
Their status changed when they laid grip on you.

You are so special
You are unique
You are appreciated
You can change the world
Beyond the sky is your limit

You can make the world a better place
You are the hope yet to be born
You are a universal solvent
You are an architect of change
You are gifted and talented
You have what ever it takes

You have to go a bit more deep
You have to excavate the unexplored continent
You have to dive into the ocean of possibilities
You are our anchor
Do it for humanity
The world and it's contents will applaud you
Do not hesitate
Start now
The journey has just begun
There's no tommorow
Do it now or never.

Poet's note: I started writing this poem since 2018. I dedicate this poem to the people of Dagbon. I want to express a feeling of satisfaction This poem means a lot to me, we the people of Dagbon embraced change. We've been able to merge the two warring factions (The Abudus and the Andanis). The president of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo gave us a title as the"Abudani". when I cast my eyes across our kingship arena, I see development, I progress, infact I see a lot. So basically the poem means development to me
