Do We?

Do we weigh what it means to love?
The first affection warmed our hearts with a horizon of radiant waves that culminated the strong bond thereafter

Making wrong choices reminds us of the loneliness and pain we endured inĀ  the past
Day in day out we are the victims of insults,
Heartless lovers and sojourners of hatred

It needed two to tangle; intertwined with a diamond ring and a beautiful linen,
Slowly loosening to create a gap meant to hurt and thorn to pave a way for the parting sun rays to radiate through

The pain of love creates scars that heals not,
Plants regrets that lasts forever
And coats the ecstasy with sorrow
Oh what a bomb cell in our hearts!
