Beloved Dad

We loved you dad but God loved you most,
We miss your beaming smile that lit up the room,
We miss your courageous words and love you showed to us
Dad you're always in our hearts

We miss the jokes you made to us,
I will never say goodbye to you my father because I Know their is life after death

I watched you suffer on gurneys
around hospital's corridors,
I tried to wipe away my tears,
But all in vain they kept rolling down my cheeks

We love you dad, it's unbelievably clear
That we would do anything to have you back here.
But until the day we meet again,
Warm in our hearts is where you remain
