Potent Love
If dreams shape my reality and all my dreams satanity
Dreams of satisfactory , content ,
To someone hanging me .
She starts of sweet as candy , eyes so innocent -
uncanny-ing .
Dreams of building families to dreams that scream profanity
Her that's curled so perfectly, her skin shades in diversity
I think that love is cursing me , so nervously I spoke to she
To quote i said "hello" , the air turned dense , I felt the potenty
Which poisoned me with poetry and slowed the sense of urgency but ...
Urgently , I urged for her and soon my sentence lost it's words .
How wonderful when worlds collide...
Ignite a spark and bring new life
So although potent , although poison
A dream like sin is her I've chosen
If dreams shape my reality...
I chose her love with her satanity

Poet's note: I wrote this poem during a moment when my emotions were louder than my thoughts. It was inspired by someone who caught me off guard — someone whose presence felt innocent at first but carried a kind of danger I couldn’t ignore. I wrote it for her, even if she’ll never know it. The poem came from a place where attraction, fear, desire, and doubt were all mixed together. I wanted to express how love can feel both sweet and poisonous, comforting and destructive at the same time. To me, this poem is a reflection of choosing someone even when you know the love might be risky, even when the feelings pull you into a darker, more confusing version of yourself. It’s the truth of wanting someone so deeply that the danger becomes part of the attraction.
