Life

Life doesn't spare
a moment
for unmotivated
self-reflection.

Even though you have your beloved's
hand in yours,
your brains delude you,
calling hunger love
and need
contentment.

What else you wish
if the right thing happens
at the right moment.

But when you want
to speak up
the words
slip through this same
sweaty grasp.
