The Economic Ritualists

Capitalism a calculated system
Chaired by the bourgeoises
Men of no conscience
Who highjack the commodities.

The capitalists are crafty
and profit drunk,
They are selfish and self centered
Cupidity runs in their veins.

Day and Nights
They strategies and manipulate
dastard ways,
To highjack the system.

They decide the system
What to produce
How to produce,
and when to produce.

They are cantankerous
to the tears of the poor,
Their hearts smile and rejoice
over their absurdity and asininity.

The proletariats
are namby-pamby,
Tears their only companion
Hunger slaps their faces.

Their supplications
accuse the economic ritualists,
Who have monopolized
and codified the system.

We are all stewards of God's creation
Extortion is sinful and nefarious,
Judgment awaits all mortal.
No repentance in the grave.

Poet's note: This is a socio-economic poem. It mirrors the suffering of the poor masses in a hard economic situation. Its cautions the elite class to fear God in their dealings. The poor masses are suffering because the prices of commodities are very expensive. Things are getting worse day by day. The economy is biting hard and exploiting all. The poor masses are praying and hoping that things will get better soon.
