Don't Walk Away

The heart is heavily laden
Like a pregnant rock
Waiting to vent cold fire
Without chewing words.

Though stuck by the fracases of fate
Why pay heed to the lips of our foes?
Who vowed to keep us
Closely apart.

The blood ties has untied
Our real enemies,
The genotype and phenotype
Have kept us on a crossed road.

If wishes were horses
I will deafen the warnings of science
And walk you down the aisle
And reap the fruits of my fate.
