Caught In The Web

I am a faithful sinner
Enticed by the lust of the flesh
The spirit is willfully willing
But the flesh is freakishly weak.

Though saved by the blood of the lamb
Delivered and redeemed from the
enticing flames of sin,
His love and mercy stood by me.

I am caught in the web
As sinful desires tempt me
My needs and wants mock at me
Faithfulness a shield to my soul.

I am daily tempted by good and evil
choices,
Smiling and mocking at me
Am I alone in this?
Many are caught in the web.
