Grief And Longing
As hearts wither like dry leaves,
A season of sorrow unfolds,
The memories of loved ones lost,
Echoing through our lives, like waves,
Their absence dwindles, like fading bells,
Leaving ache as dew,
Smite like melting ice,
Without waiting for it's passing.
We smile through tears, as memories remain.
