My Shoe
My journey has been long
This shoe is proof of my troubles.
On my onset at the coast,
I had purchased it at a vendors.
When you look at my shoe,
You'll know that I come from far,
I therefore don't have to tell you,
What Ive seen on my way here.
It is old and tattered,
You can't tell if it was once good,
One look at my old shoe,
You'll get a view of my big toe.
