Mother's Heart

Mother's heart is bleeding
in pain,
her heart is on flame,
her heart is broken
by the face
of her children,
who she nourished,
she covered,
she blessed,
with her fruit.
Her anger is laid
on her children,
who claim
to be advanced
by their knowledge
but are threatened
by their stupidity.
She preserved the cure
for their stupidity
only to watch them
suffer in their
stupidity.
