Life Made Her A Promise

She listened to sweet melodies of love and forever
She travelled to the Astral world
She found so much joy and comfort in the art of living her body
She created the man she would love to meet

On the fateful day she met him and he met her
The Universe supported her by creating a romantic solar system
The world was for once behaving according to her Accord
She loved the feeling of winter in the heated summer

Every statement spoken by him was just a manifestation
Every acceptance acted by her was a surprising effect
Her Astral plane said it's him
His psyche told him it's a mare dream

Like a dream when it sweetens the first instinct is to try to wake up
He asked for the breaking of the middle fruiting
She trusted the man she has met as her husband
After All Marriage is consummated by the two and God only blesses

The total surrender put the good in her life
The total surrender and no sign of waking up made him confused
She thought she owned him, their affair became the gospel according to her
He lost the chemistry and left her

He woke up when he realized he is to be a Father
She loved him more when she heard someone else owned her
He officially reports to someone else
She the main hero of the story is but a villain in love story that breeds forever

She spends days and money trying to win him back
He spends days and money trying to be a good Father
She is his only weakness
He has her every time he is looking for fresh air

She is losing the erection of a flower at Dawn
He is getting more powerful and influential
But life made her a promise
To have and hold him 'til their bodies frail

Her pillow knows the story of her betrayal
Her friends find her the strongest and the most carefree
She has to travel day and night trying to run away from her mind
Life promised her life but not to be found only in one man

Poet's note: This poem was inspired by events in a friend's life where she felt betrayed by her lover who got married after they had just had a fight and she requested for a short break. Through the poem I would love to express how sweet it feels to be obsessive of something that will never be yours and suggest that life is too short to fix your eyes on closed doors. The poem helps me to understand that their is much greater power in letting go.
