Tonight

I.
Tonight I walk the path
That many people take.
And, no matter what,
I try to keep my pace.

II.
We boldly go one direction,
Striving in each of our missions,
Catching up with the future,
Facing forward, letting go of reasons.

III.
This is me, clad in moonlight,
In the shadow of the trees,
Under lamps so bright,
Moved by the stars I see.

IV.
To the sound of tomorrow,
I move both my feet.
Tonight, I walk and I breathe.
Tonight, I have dreamed.
