Return (p.2)

My dear, once more,
Vivid, the chamber,
Lit, the hearth.

It came back,
Knocked on the door,
Took off its shoes,

Blush on the face,
Chest beating,
Hours passing.

Scent of comfort,
Shared between,
You and me.

Love unfeigned,
Cozy the living;
Home again.

Poet's note: The conclusion of the initial poem entitled, "Disappearance". This was also written on April 2, 2021, deeper into the night a little after writing the first part. Both works encompass the thoughts about love I've had (especially after the story I've read brought back some thoughts and ideas).
