Besmirched
She was a temple
Her body had no trace of a kettle
Always keeping them in an iron girdle
She was safe as a
castle
She left for the city
To live with her uncle in Ado-Ekiti
She was only fifteen
Four years before the end of her teen
The night she was at the kitchen
Her uncle's wife had travelled with their son Stephen
When he stepped in
And asked her to let him in
Though she protested
His blows got her
exhausted
He hit her not a few
And took away her virtue
There was an
animalistic spilling of red roses
Bearing testimony was their oasis
Her chastity is over
He has taken her
flower
