Mpingwe Sunset

Slowly we oozed down the pathway,
The sensitivity of a strange feeling got us
drifting to perfect emotions
Beautiful is how the Mpingwe mountains are structured, adorable is the silence along the road, that waves you of the total peace around!
Amazing how our eyes locked, a feeling there is no other around us,
Its like a remedy that should not pass
The beautiful sun got going so fast
Some moments should never become a freeze
The adorable sun passed so fast like a glimpse
It left us staring at each other's lips
The crave for each other wasn't a least,
It was now becoming dark and creepy
Our hands tangled for a forever last
We relished a best moment of our lives!

Poet's note: I wrote this poem after visiting a certain place called mpingwe situated in Blantyre, Malawi. My boyfriend took me there to have a view of such an adorable place and how beautiful the mountains there are. I wrote it after the great feeling and moment I experienced that day.
