Before I Spoke
Before my voice learned words,
Before my heart knew its own rhythm,
A whisper from eternity
Already called my name.
I shaped you with purpose,
The Voice declares,
Not by accident, not by chance—
But with intention woven into your bones.
I tremble,
I am too young, too unsure,
My tongue is not ready,
My courage too thin.
But the Voice answers gently,
Do not say you are too small.
You will go where I send you,
You will speak what I place in your mouth.
Fear no face-
For I walk beside you.
Then a light touches my lips,
Setting truth within me,
Planting boldness where fear once lived.
Today, the Voice continues,
I appoint you to uproot and to rebuild,
To tear down falsehood
And to plant hope again.
My words are in you—
Go, and they will grow.
