For Today's Morning
For all mornings must rise
All days must fall and go
It's u to ride the tide
It's u to decide to row
But as this one rises I pray
That by Heaven's strength divine
I shall not lose the way
I shall not miss what is mine.
That as the set ceremonially exits
I shall be glad and with ease
Let joy and hope be what my heart emits
Not regrets, that awful disease
Yet if my portion be dismay
I pray it be what my heart can take
Keep me steady all the way
With hope that tomorrow will be a different make.
