From the top of my head , to the corns on my feet.
I will rise and not skip a beat.
My purpose in life is to continue the path that God has chosen for me.
You can either love me or hate me or leave me be. I am me.
I am just fine in this world alone and going at my own paste,
to love and live and only share my space,
with whomever i choose to see there face,
My heart is filled with so much emotion and heartache.
I choose not to make any mistakes of being someone else,
That i cannot fake.
I am me.
From my smile to my frown,
i Undoubtedly know me,
I change for no one because i am me.
to say you love me,
means you know who i am.
I am me.

Poet's note: 11/28/2022 i wrote this poem because i am tired of people not excepting me for who i am and trying to change my life if ways that i am not comfortable with. i wrote this poem for who it pertains too.
