Her eyeliner
Covering tear
Color of lipstick
Helped her to pick
Fake smiles, fearless lies,
Doesn't she look fashionable?
She is making her pain invisible
To fit into this millennium

House or office
Everywhere
Discrimination is in practice!!
Cherish equal appreciation
For equal exertion
She created virtuous remark
Being a working spark
To fit into this millennium
Because...

What is the difference!!
No lady under Ghungat
Is in freelance
All those wearing jeans
Not yet tasted independence
Still she is awesome
Not lesser than anyone

Poet's note: I have written this poem for modern woman who working hard to prove herself in this world after facing so many gender discriminations.... This poem means a lot for me. Because I'm also a modern woman managing my home as well as office work....
