Mother Nature

Its dusk
l glare at the Western horizon
As the sun sets gracefully
It's lilac and a mixture of orange rays
Brightening my face and the universe
A symbol of hope and optimism
My pulse and respiration
Embrace cordially
An assurance of solace
l feel a sigh of relief
Mother nature smiling at the sundown
Cockroaches chirping
Birds singing
And at a far distance, a cooing dove was heard
Their sounds in unison
Produced a melodious tune
That sparkled happiness and joy
