Modern Slavery
Could the purple bougainvilleas reflect our nature?
Nor could the heat or dust around the roadside say much about us.
In the beginning, It could have been better to start with the smell of rotine cashew tossed around this road which I never noticed.
Neither have I noticed the black bellied Lizard with a red head lying helplessly in line arranged orderly with chains
Instead I chose to walk in silence not mentioning the agony this road brings
The only crime I committed is that I'm a different coloured lizard...I'm black.
WHY?
...because my DNA is an abomination.
I was born like this to walk only on this road but I do not blame God.
Once more I cannot change the pathway of this road though it looks like it has been changed with definition of lizards with golden chains still arranged orderly to walk on this path.
Re-branded they call it... but it looks like I got only pain as a heritage.
