The Poet's Mind

The poet's mind!
Unveiling thoughts in syllables,
Preaching in rhymic,
Whose emphasis are onomatopoeic,
But prophesy in metaphor.

Every event is a poem
Is it love, nature, law, politics, religion?
They are in the mind of the poet.

His pen he never hates
Licking and rolling
In search of savoury food,
That is prepared with assonance and consonance.

Who can tell the poet's mind?
His anger and joy is a poem
Carving the mood in stanzas
And counting the joy in lines
Only the pen tells the poet's mind.
