Now You're Gone

You tiptoed away in the night
In the darkness, he thrived
You let him hold you
While I believed you were mine

You silently slipped away
Slowly my world turned grey
You belong to him now
How can I be okay

You gave me your time
You made me feel whole
Little did I know then
He got your body, and your soul

Was it the way he understood you
Or the way he touched you
But now that you're gone
How can I love someone new.
