Black And Brown

Black and Brown are similar.
Brown is smart.
Black is too.
Brown likes to draw.
Black doesn’t care.

Not until their lines are drawn over.
Not until she sees people praising him over her.
Brown just wants a notice.
Black needs the attention.
Needs,
And needs.

But acting older does make you mature.
Being smarter does not make you wiser.
Brown learnt this.
Black has not.

Black likes people.
Brown does too.
Black has a voice.
Brown does not.
Yet Brown effects.
Black corrupts.
Soil, soft.
Rocks, hard.

Black believes she is a colour.
But she is not.
She is a shade.
And shades mean nothing.
At least not to colours.
