A Nighttime Wish

A NIGHTTIME WISH
Father God, Thank You for this wonderful Night
Bringing me unto Greater Height
Thank you for giving me these eyes for sight
That I may see that your Word is Light

I just like to take out this moment
To reflect and remember how you've taught me to study, even my environment

I desire to be better
And I know you're helping me on this matter
I just can't live without you because you're my keeper
In understanding your Word; Lord, I want to go deeper

I want to know who I am in you
In order that I can keep on standing despite everything I may go through

Father God, please, teach me to be bold
To do according to what I've been told
I want to be a vessel of honour....please, mould
Please, hold me tight, that I may not fold

Father God, please, teach me your Will
Help me face Challenges; Help me to deal
I shall not feel down because I know I'm covered with your seal
For your Word has become my daily meal

My heart is open to you, Lord....please, fill me up
For I believe you are taking me all the way to the top

I shall not be discouraged because I know that you're always here with me
More like you, Lord....you're helping me to be

I believe you're leading me towards perfection
With your Word in me; Giving me direction
For even though I keep on making silly mistakes; Yet I know you keep on giving me correction
You've held me under your wings; Giving me protection

You have made me a Prince
And you have been teaching me ever since

Eventhough sometimes, I do feel stuck....not moving
Sitted......just wishing
I won't lose heart....I will keep believing
For I know that you're well able.....that's why I'll keep on trusting

The Devil is a Liar....I shall make more progress
Moving Further Forward with no stress

I shall be a proper advertisement for you, oh Lord
I shall be connected to you like some chord
Thank you for reminding me that I'm never defenseless.....For your Word is my Sword
I shall be studious and never bored

As I go to bed
I know that with your Word....I have been fed
I have been cleaned by your Word....never to only live by bread
And for your second coming, Lord Jesus....you're helping me to be prepared.
